Story so far

Dwarven Industrial Light-Duty Automatons are bulldozer-sized mining robots Carl finds switched off in a strange, sigil-guarded warehouse off Banshee Station, one of several identical rooms reported across The Iron Tangle. Ore-hauling workhorses, not fighters, they sit dormant with no map dots. Carl blows the pair apart with hobgoblin dynamite for their metal, harvesting roughly fifteen tons of scrap — including a much denser-than-iron alloy that becomes the raw material for Katia Grim's multi-ton tank mass and his own train barricades.

Appearance

Bulldozer-sized lumpy blocks of black-and-silver metal that unfold into arms and legs; venting hot exhaust when active, inert and toy-Transformer-like when off.

Role

Dormant robot 'mob'/resource; the source of Katia's dense armor mass.
