Ink Marauder
Signet's blood-powered spell animates the people memorialized in her tattoos and can be cast through either three participants or a single self-sacrifice.
Story so far
The normal casting structure requires Signet as caster, a second person whose blood powers the spell, and a third person to kill that sacrifice. Carl recognizes an alternate method: one individual may fulfill all three roles.
Signet chooses the one-person form after learning that outside observers dismiss her family as fictional. She asks Carl to time the sacrifice and have Donut cast Torch using moon rays, which will make the result more valuable to both the crawlers and Signet's family.
