Story so far
Signet endures the overlapping charm effects while her living tattoos accelerate and her glow triples in Donut's blue moonlight. She asks Carl to tell her family that she chose the sacrifice freely and takes the same knife once used in an attempt on Donut.
As the audience recovers, Signet sits beside Imogen. She names her regrets—never saying goodbye to Grimaldi and not personally killing her sister—and recalls the island escape she once imagined with her mother.
Signet cuts her own throat. The floor opens to the Nothing and drags her away while Imogen tries to catch her. Her blood and tattoo silhouettes remain temporarily, twisting into a growing tornado as Apito turns away and the failed Masquerade seal breaks.
