Monkeys

Macaques

Primates that plague the southern cities and may enter the Ursine town only under dryad escort.

Story so far

The Town Rules of the Large Ursine Settlement permit no macaques of any breed unless escorted by a Dryad. Carl noticed the town contained none of the monkeys that seemed to plague the more southern cities.

The rule became personal when Elmer squinted at Princess Donut through his glasses and asked what sort of creature she was — some sort of monkey? — and informed Carl that only dryads may bring monkeys within town, so he'd have to leave both her and Mongo behind. Donut's furious correction that she was an award-winning purebred tortoiseshell Persian cat with a flawless pedigree did not move him; he replied that she certainly acted and smelled like a monkey.

Role

A restricted race whose entry rule is used to insult and exclude Donut.

Relationships

Princess Donut — Mistaken for one by the mayor, to her fury.
Dryads — The only race permitted to escort them into town.
