Dryads
Jungle race present in the Ursine town and the only people permitted to escort macaques inside it.
Story so far
Carl spotted multiple dryads among the mixed population of the Large Ursine Settlement, alongside Bush Elves, the occasional dwarf and even a bugbear. The town's Town Rules single them out favorably: macaques of any breed are barred unless escorted by a dryad — a clause Elmer cited when telling Carl that only dryads may bring monkeys within town, so he'd have to leave Princess Donut and Mongo outside.
Carl noted that unlike the very first dryad village he'd visited, which was built as part of the jungle itself, the Ursine town was mostly devoid of jungle foliage, its greenery reduced to rows of well-manicured shrubs and flowering trees.
Role
A jungle race with privileged standing under the Ursine settlement's rules.
