Elmer was the level 40 Ursine mayor of the Large Ursine Settlement across the river, summoned from his office when Princess Donut loudly demanded to see whoever was in charge about the town rule banning dinosaurs. An older brown bear in glasses and a vest, he was disappointed to find no High Elf royalty waiting, mistook Donut for a monkey, and cheerfully offered to have his guards execute both her and Mongo for the customary 100-gold fee, discounted to 150 for the pair.
Carl played along, pretending the two were a nuisance and dangling gold to lure Elmer closer to the town limits. When the mayor stepped out to take the coins, Donut hit him with Astral Paw and shoved him down the twenty-foot slope toward the river. Elmer's own bulk killed him before Carl could even throw a banger sphere — he cracked his skull on the rocks and was dead at the water's edge. A Naiad burst from the river and dragged the corpse under before it could be looted, but Donut still got kill credit and, with it, the town.
