A hunter group on the carve-up map, holding its own territory and claiming both Elle and Eva.

Story so far

The Crafters are one of the several groups named along the edges of the The Hunter Territory Map that Carl recovers from Hunter Arwick's corpse — evidence that a body of hunters sat down together in a saferoom and divided The Hunting Grounds into segments so they would not get in each other's way.

Their claims on the crawler list are personal as well as territorial. Elle is circled in the Crafters' color, and Eva is circled in it too, making them the only known group to have claimed two of the crawlers Carl travels with information about. Both are currently a few hundred miles away in the forest with Louis and Katia, on ground claimed by The Filigree — the kind of overlap Carl is trying to figure out how to turn against the hunters.

Unseen; represented only by a name written along the edge of a colored-pencil map and a circling color.
