A permanent apostate mark that turns Diwata's adherents hostile and gives Carl fifty-percent bonus damage against them.

Story so far

The Gold Apostate Box places a large flaming knot of snakes on Carl's upper left arm, where one snake curls into his Guild of Suffering web tattoo. All Diwata adherents outside a Club Vanquisher now attack him on sight, and he cannot worship Diwata or allied gods.

The tattoo grants twenty-five-percent damage against her faithful, doubled to fifty percent by Carl's Emberus allegiance. It cannot be hidden and can be removed only by killing Diwata or amputating the arm.

Appearance

A large flaming free-floating mass of snake heads wrapped into Carl's existing elbow-web tattoo.

Role

The tattoo converts accidental sacrilege into both a permanent faction threat and combat bonus.

Relationships

Carl — It is permanently fixed to his left upper arm.

Diwata — It marks him as an enemy of her church.

Emberus — His allegiance doubles the damage bonus against Diwata's adherents.
