Diwata

Circe's Soul Armor

Donut uses level-fifteen Laundry Day to strip Diwata from Circe Took, returning the deity to the Halls of Ascendency without harming it.

Story so far

Diwata enters the cage fight as a level-250 immortal still manifesting around Circe Took and giving birth to burning nymphs. Carl's group fights toward the corner where she has been driven while the rest of the crawlers occupy Imogen.

Donut raises Laundry Day to level fifteen with training, Pawna's Cries, and Carl's Pawna's Tears. The spell cannot remove armor from a god at that rank, but Diwata is itself the soul armor worn by a mortal host.

Laundry Day targets Circe underneath rather than damaging the deity. Soapy bubbles appear, the god briefly changes to an antlered bear, and Diwata is returned intact to the Halls of Ascendency.

Appearance

A flaming divine mantis shell peeled away in white soap bubbles before changing into an antlered bear and vanishing.

Role

Diwata is removed by exploiting the distinction between invulnerable divine armor and its vulnerable wearer.

Relationships

Circe Took — The deity functions as her soul armor.
Princess Donut — Donut's Laundry Day separates them.
The Halls of Ascendency — Diwata returns there after removal.
Carl — He identifies and coordinates the soul-armor exploit.
