Zockau

The city whose surroundings the organized hunter groups left to the unaffiliated stragglers.

Story so far

Zockau appears on the The Hunter Territory Map as the place nobody important wanted. When the hunter groups sat down in a saferoom and carved The Hunting Grounds into segments, the unaffiliated hunters — those with no group backing them — were relegated to the areas around the city of Zockau, while The Dark Hive, The Dream, The Crafters, the The Nebular Sin Patrol, The Filigree and the Skull Empire took the ground they wanted.

It sits in the same drowned-city landscape Carl is walking through on the city side of The River, where the ruins of buildings show through jungle foliage that has completely covered them.

Appearance

Not seen directly here; a city named on a hunter's map, with its surrounding areas parcelled out to unaffiliated hunters.

Role

The ninth floor's city, whose outskirts became the hunters' leftover territory.

Relationships

Hunters — Assigned its surroundings to their unaffiliated members.
The Hunting Grounds — One of the landmarks anchoring the partition map.
The River — Runs through the same region Carl is skirting on the city side.
