Story so far
When Carl said he wanted to buy something immediately, Mordecai reasoned aloud that the bomber's studio is not too expensive and that the Venison box had held what, 300,000 gold? That windfall is a large part of the roughly one million gold Carl and Princess Donut now hold between them.
Mordecai used the figure to green-light buying both the advanced Bomber's Studio and the expensive Magic Studio at once — though five percent of any looted gold also goes into the Shrine of Emberus.
