Cretin Mercenaries

cretins

Hired brutes serving the party, including Sledge and Bomo, kept on a short leash in town.

Story so far

The party's cretins are treated as both assets and liabilities. Sledge tries to tag along on the shopping trip and is told no by Mordecai, then sulks back to the Frogger Cabinet cabinet; later Carl notes that Sledge is being kept locked up in the safe room entirely.

Bomo gets a different verdict. When Mordecai asks whether Carl really wants to bring him into the night town, Carl says Bomo is worth the risk — and at the end of the night the cretin's teleport spell proves to be the linchpin of the plan, sending the party to the stairwell in Zockau.

Appearance

Big, grunting humanoid brutes hired to serve crawler parties.

Role

The party's muscle and, in Bomo's case, its transport.

Relationships

Sledge — Cretin confined to the safe room
Bomo — Cretin brought out for his teleport spell
