The Skull Empire
A faction Carl believes was working with a caprid liaison to censor and cheat against Maggie My's crew.
Story so far
Stalling for time in front of Orren and the unseen media representative, Carl asks why a liaison was helping Maggie My cheat. He notes that Maggie and Chris kept getting censored, that they said the culprit was a caprid, and that the creature was obviously working with the Skull Empire.
Orren says everyone present is aware of which he speaks, that there is an answer, and that Carl is not allowed to hear it — but he is glad Carl asked, because exploits work both ways and the forces working against him have had far longer to learn how to manipulate the system. He adds that the issue has been dealt with as swiftly as the one now before them.
