The silent cafeteria adjoins a room of unusually preserved bodies, with the route outside lying beyond them.

Story so far

When Juliette explored the neighboring silo’s cafeteria, dim green emergency light spilled in from the stairs. The kitchen sink had no running water, and she assumed the walk-in freezer no longer worked because its overhead light stayed dark.

The cafeteria’s later-described condition is similarly silent and green-lit, with its kitchen looted. A dark room off it holds bodies piled together, their hands reaching toward the exit. Their clothing disintegrates while flesh remains intact. Dozens of these bodies still fail to decay like others in the silo, and the door leading outside lies beyond them.

Appearance

Dim green stairwell light reaches the silent cafeteria and looted kitchen. Behind a nearby door, bodies lie piled with hands extended toward the exit.

Role

The cafeteria is an abandoned communal space beside a disturbing obstruction on the route outside.
