The fast, funny House Mars girl captured by Titus and mutilated as bait to provoke Darrow.
Quinn carries Darrow's formal apology to Antonia at Deimos Tower to seal an alliance against Titus, but on her return the tyrant's men capture the fastest girl of Mars at last. Believing her to be Darrow's girl and thinking he knows his temper, Titus has her beaten and cuts off one of her ears, sending it to Darrow's fort to provoke him. The atrocity misfires as a lure — it does not bring Darrow charging in — but it drives Cassius, who cares for her, to challenge Titus alone and be beaten near to death.
Quinn, once the blazing liar with a life-spark like Eo's, is now Titus's wounded captive.
