Eo

Little Eo · the Martyr · Persephone

Darrow's martyred wife, whose hijacked song has spread across Mars, where the people now call her Persephone.

Story so far

Though buried in the secret garden, Eo's death has become a spark far beyond Lykos. The Greens who aid the Sons-of-Ares hijacked the holoCan and played the true, uncensored recording of her forbidden song and hanging over every screen on Mars. Across the mining colonies and cities the people have taken up her memory and given her a new name, Persephone — the maiden goddess stolen by death yet destined, in the old tales, to return each spring.

To Dancer she is beauty that touches life even from the grave; to Darrow the name is a theft, for her name is Eo and she belongs to Lykos. Her song did not die with her: it echoes now as the seed of a planet-wide rebellion.

Appearance

Tiny and slight, sixteen, rust-red mane and eyes; frail and drained after the cells, back bloodied by the lash yet luminous and unafraid to the end.

Role

Darrow's martyred wife, become a planet-wide symbol of rebellion under the name Persephone.

Relationships
