ART’s medical intelligence moves from emergency resuscitation to forensic care, proving Eletra’s body is ordinary even while her internal chronology is not.
ART Medical System first awakens independently while Perihelion remains under hostile control, resuscitating Eletra after Murderbot and Amena remove the control implant that stopped her heart. Once ART is restored, the system resumes its role as an integrated medical and surgical intelligence.
At Thiago’s request, Medical performs a thorough neurological and biological scan of Eletra. It finds no genetic manipulation, concealed device, nonhuman organism, or other physical alteration that explains her missing memories. Her augment clock nevertheless records forty-three corporate standard days since her transport entered the system, transforming an apparently healthy scan into evidence that something altered memory without leaving an obvious bodily mechanism.
ART also identifies Medical as certified for emotional support and trauma recovery when it stops Murderbot from disclosing more of Mensah’s private condition. The certification reinforces the transport’s authority about patient privacy as well as treatment.
The system occupies a medical platform beneath a ceiling-folded surgical suite, with violet status lights, articulated treatment devices, delicate scan arrays, repair feelers, and direct medical-feed interfaces.
ART Medical System is both the transport’s lifesaving clinical intelligence and a source of forensic negative evidence. Its scans narrow the mystery to forms of memory disruption that leave no ordinary biological trace.
