A battered station officer keeps fighting an enhanced assassin beside Murderbot, survives the attack, and confirms that the apparently dead operative may revive.
Tifany serves with the first Preservation Station security response when three GrayCris operatives attack a council meeting. Two chemically enhanced assailants overwhelm six officers while driving toward Mensah, but Tifany remains functional after the others fall. She clings to the arm stabbing Murderbot with a broken chair part and repeatedly punches the attacker in the head, helping the SecUnit prevent him from reaching Mensah.
After the fight, Tifany kneels beside Murderbot with her weapon trained on the operative, whose body has revived twice. Though swelling nearly closes her eyes and her voice is reduced to a rasp, she insists that containment is necessary. Senior Officer Indah relieves her, and a medical bot sedates and removes her for treatment. Her survival makes her a living witness to the severity of the concealed assassination attempt.
