Story so far
The Pella continues to carry Marco Inaros's dispersed Belter crew, its Martian identity and systems helping conceal an assault on Prime Minister Smith's convoy. During preparations for battle, its personnel dress and practice Martian speech while its armory is readied, making clear that the corvette is part of a coordinated military ambush.
Under the battle's cover, captive Naomi Nagata opens an access panel and uses the secondary diagnostic handset hidden in the ship's electrical routing. She broadcasts a thirty-second warning that the Rocinante's magnetic-bottle software is sabotaged and must be reloaded from a known good source before its reactor starts. The message exposes her defiance to Marco even as it may save her family.
