character

Theodora

The elegant Pink spymaster of the Sons, running intelligence and propaganda from Tinos with quiet authority.

Story so far

Theodora, the Pink once in Darrow's service, was spirited out of the Citadel by Pebble on Sevro's order when the Triumph fell, and has served the Sons ever since as the mind of their intelligence and propaganda wings. In the Tinos command room she carries an authority nearly equal to Dancer's—the Sons listen to her not to humor her but as an equal. It was her operation, built on informants in a Pearl Club who caught word of the Olympic Knights moving a 'package' from Attica, that let Sevro find and free Darrow.

She argues that the rebellion's greatest weapon is its spiritus, its spirit of change, now stolen along with its voice, and she offers to send her spy Evey as emissary to Mustang.

Appearance

An elegant Pink woman with an air of authority, graceful even in plain black utility clothes; greets in the Luna highColor manner with a kiss on the lips.

Role

Spymaster and propagandist of the Sons of Ares; architect of Darrow's rescue and a leading voice at Tinos.

Relationships

Darrow — Her former patron, whose rescue she engineered through her network of informants.
Dancer — Her fellow leader at Tinos, whose intelligence and propaganda work she directs as a near-equal.
Sevro — Her ally, who saved her from the Citadel and backed her operation to find Darrow.
