The Pitvipers

Pitvipers · B squad

Narol's motley B-squad of lowColor saboteurs and ex-Helldivers, the Sons' specialists in theft and demolition.

Story so far

The Pitvipers are the Sons of Ares' B squad, led by Narol, who has become a cult hero among Tinos's Reds—a rough old man who drinks and smokes too much and is uncommonly good at war. Half ex-Helldivers, the rest a spattering of useful lowColors, they specialize in sabotage and thievery. Darrow, Victra, and Holiday earn their place running missions with them—destroying a barracks and Legion communications installations—before graduating toward the elite Howlers.

Their pinprick raids, though skilled, feed Darrow's fear that the Rising is a snake eating its own tail.
