Quicksilver's final pulseArmor line equips Darrow's ten-person mission with slimmer, faster, high-output suits designed to survive the Rim operation.
The Godkiller Mark I is Quicksilver's newest and final pulseArmor line, loaded in ten kits for the Archimedes crew before their departure for the Rim. Its armor is slimmer and built for speed, with double-jointed couters, a reinforced breastplate, a nano-helm, adaptive camouflage skin, and polyenne fiber woven into the construction.
Quicksilver says the generator output is tripled compared with the older Mercury-era models and expects this version to be unusually hard to destroy, though he cannot promise that against Darrow's habit of exhausting equipment in war. Manuals are provided, matching the exacting industrial support he offers in place of a fleet.
The suits make the small party better prepared for the covert passage into Ilium and whatever Athena's people demand of them. They remain gear rather than a solution: no improvement in armor changes the fact that the crew is entering a hostile war zone with only one ship.
Slim high-performance pulseArmor kits with reinforced breastplates, double-jointed elbow defenses, nano-helms, adaptive camouflage skin, and woven polyenne fiber, stored in new wall racks aboard the Archimedes.
Godkiller Mark I is the mission's best protective equipment, supplying survivability and stealth where Quicksilver will not supply a navy.
