Daxo

Daxo au Telemanus · the Senator

Kavax's towering, gilded son and Republic senator, who interrogates Lyria as a Society plant and orders her tortured to protect the vote and the children.

Story so far

Daxo au Telemanus, senator and son of the maimed Kavax, leads the interrogation of Lyria with cold, immense authority—golden angels tattooed on his bald head, a caged torture-creature at his elbow. Believing the necklace-bomb far beyond a camp Red's means, he presses the theory that she is a conditioned Society agent planted among the Lagalos survivors to discredit the Sovereign before next week's vote on the Peace, insisting the whole affair be handled 'with precision, not an army' to avoid exposure that would force Mustang to step down. He narrows the search to the Lost City reconstruction zone by tram station 17, and when Lyria cannot pinpoint the building, sets the Oracle on her—overruling Holiday's hesitation—only to be stopped by the Sovereign, who kills the creature and rebukes his council for torturing the girl in her name.

Appearance

An enormous Gold, immensely heavy, bald head tattooed with golden angels and huge dissecting eyes, in a violet tunic with a golden fox lapel.
