Sons of Ares

the Sons · the Sons of Ares

The rebellion against the Society, now radicalized into system-wide bombings after Dancer's death.

Story so far

The Sons of Ares are the clandestine rebellion led by the masked Ares and, until his death, Dancer—the men who had Mickey Carve Darrow into a Gold to strike at Gold from within. With Dancer dead and Harmony's cell radicalized, the Sons have turned to open terror: coordinated bombings across Mars and Luna, including Evey's attack on the Jackal that killed nearly two hundred lowColors. Their true plan is vast—four hundred bombings and six hundred assaults timed to the Summit's end—and hinges on Darrow smuggling a radium bomb into the gala to behead the leaders of Gold.

They trust only Reds now, having been betrayed by a Gray mercenary, and are Carving a new army of Red super-soldiers to rival Gold.

Role

The rebellion Darrow secretly serves, now split between his subversion strategy and Harmony's open war.

Relationships

Ares — Their masked, unseen supreme leader, directing the coming revolution from Mars.
Darrow — Their Carved agent and 'other path,' whom they now press to become a suicide bomber.
