Daxo Au Telemanus

Kavax's smiling eldest, a former Jupiter primus who shares Darrow's enemies and pledges his house.

Story so far

Daxo au Telemanus joins his father Kavax in the hall to assure Darrow that House Telemanus does not hold him accountable for Pax's death—'once friends, always friends, that is our family's way.' He reveals he was himself the primus of Jupiter House at the Institute until he lost to Karnus au Bellona, making the Bellona a shared enemy alongside the Jackal, who murdered his baby brother and whom Augustus wrongly welcomed back to the fleet. Ever the sly diplomat—slipping jelly beans into Darrow's pocket to stage his father's 'magic' omen—he pledges the house to Darrow's cause and reads his eccentric father with fond, clear eyes, seeing a man who simply lives in a more entertaining world.
