Fenn

Target Two

A Lalow crew member responds to expected corporate pursuit with armed defiance, then tries to protect the refugee route through silence.

Story so far

Fenn serves aboard the Lalow, a family-linked cargo ship secretly moving refugees out of BreharWallHan’s asteroid mines. When Special Investigator Aylen and Supervisor Gamila arrive, Fenn believes they are hostile port agents trying to seize the vessel. She aims a projectile weapon at the unarmed visitors and resists even after Murderbot breaks in, attempting to reclaim her fallen gun.

In detention, Fenn maintains a carefully rehearsed false cargo route and reacts defensively to Lutran’s image. Once his name is spoken and the crew realizes he has been killed, she stops talking rather than expose the escape network. Her resistance is not evidence that she knew Lutran personally; it is fear that whoever killed him now knows about everyone involved.

Appearance

An adult woman of unspecified age, skin tone, hair, face, and build, wearing shabby independent cargo-crew clothing and carrying a projectile weapon.

Role

Fenn is the Lalow crew’s most openly defiant defender, whose violent mistake conceals a real commitment to protecting escaped families.

Relationships

Lalow — The Lalow is Fenn’s ship and the refuge she fears station authorities intend to confiscate.
Miro — Miro shares Fenn’s mission but proves less capable of maintaining their cover story under detailed questioning.
Special Investigator Aylen — Special Investigator Aylen becomes Fenn’s hostage and later the interrogator who breaks through the crew’s fear.
