Murtry's second, ambushed and killed with his four-person team by Coop's cell in the alien ruins.

Story so far

Reeve (Hobart Reeve), Adolphus Murtry's second on the surface, set up his security team to catch the sabotage cell at the explosives cache Elvi Okoye discovered in the ruins — but Jacek spotted the trap, and Coop's cell struck first. Waiting the wrong way, Reeve and his four guards were gunned down in the opening volley and firefight by Coop, Cate, Basia Merton and the others. All five were killed, their bodies buried in the hard-packed dirt behind the ruins and the site washed with corrosives to erase the evidence.

His death, following Governor Trying's, leaves Murtry's security force gutted and hardens the corporation's course toward open war.
