Trainyard C

A burned-out trainyard behind station 75's plainest portal, patrolled by two ogre-sized wrath ghouls.

Story so far

Trainyard C is the destination of the first and simplest of the five track portals in Station 75's cart yard — a one-way route with a sign so plain that only Carl's Escape Plan skill can read it, and all it says is "Trainyard." A visual analysis through the portal shows the place is a burned-out mess, and two ogre-sized ghouls are stalking across it toward a distant knocked-over gate. Carl thinks they are wrath ghouls and is not pleased about it.

It matters because trainyards are where the plan sends people rather than things. The Debris Scoop on a rapid-response cart can be switched between the abyss and a trainyard, and the trainyard setting is the one that gets crawlers out alive — the same mechanism that is "supposed" to carry active trains and their passengers safely back off a blocked line. Seeing what is walking around inside one is a reminder that the destination is only relatively safe.

Appearance

A burned-out trainyard of scorched wreckage with a knocked-over gate in the distance, two ogre-sized ghouls crossing it.

Role

The nearest trainyard behind station 75's plainest portal, and a preview of what the plan's safe destination actually looks like.

Relationships

Station 75 — The first of its five track portals leads here, one-way.
Wrath Ghoul — Two ogre-sized specimens patrol it, seen only through a portal screenshot.
Debris Scoop — A trainyard is one of its two selectable destinations — the one that spares what it sweeps.
Escape Plan — Only this skill could read the portal's sign.
