The Ghoul Coaster

the disposal conveyor

Elle's name for the corpse-disposal conveyor — now the hatless crawlers' only ride out of the abyss.

Story so far

The ghoul coaster is Elle McGib's name for the corpse-disposal conveyor that runs from the pit back to the trainyards, and she meant it affectionately — she rode it down to Trainyard D and froze hundreds of monsters from the air along the way.

It has since become something grimmer: the only escape available to the crawlers stranded at The Abyss who do not have a Homeward Bound hat. As word spreads that the hat is required to use the pit's portals, an increasing number of the hatless are braving the conveyor back to the trainyards instead — a ride designed for garbage, taken by people because it is better than the alternative.

Appearance

An industrial conveyor built to carry monster corpses out of the pit, now carrying people.

Role

The hatless crawlers' improvised evacuation route out of the abyss.

Relationships

Elle McGib — She named it and rode it first, treating it as a roller coaster.
The Abyss — It runs from the pit back to the trainyards, and is the only way out without a hat.
Homeward Bound — The hat everyone on the conveyor lacks.
