Mold Lion

Madam Kiki's Dancing Lions

Level-15 fungus-infested circus lions with medusa tentacles, regrown nightly from a single spore of the vine.

Story so far

Mold Lions are level-15 circus mobs — once Madam Kiki's Dancing Lions of Grimaldi's Traveling Circus, among the first transformed in the cataclysm when the spores of Scolopendra took root and the vine's corruption spread. Filled with rage, they hunt from rooftops and pounce in packs. Carl beat a ring of six by triggering Protective Shell and a Confusing Fog scroll: the lions bounced off the shell into blind chaos, and he pinned one against a wall and tore its heart out with his gauntlet, while Princess Donut's Second Chance reanimated the dead as undead minions to fight the rest.

Tsarina Signet warned the kills are futile — a single microscopic mold spore reaching the vine regrows each lion by the next night.

Appearance

A regular male lion with a mane, half its body caked in pulsating green glowing fungus over legs, chest, and face; one eye glowing emerald; dozens of long pink-and-green finger-like worm tentacles waving from its mane like a medusa.

Role

A recurring, near-unkillable circus pack-monster of floor three.
