Story so far
The Ochre Line is the color-coded route Carl's party chooses for their first controlled derailment, at Station-149. Its trains carry mobs the party hasn't faced — lumpy tentacled wolf-monsters and tiny fairy-like skunks clutching oversized butcher knives — and are driven by Gore-Gore the ManTauR. Because multiple allied crews' routes (Beige via station 251, Bautista's Canary via 433) also intersect the ochre line, it's the linchpin of the party's coordinated mapping and engineer-catching plan.
Carl marks an ochre train with a spray-painted X to warn allies of the coming crashes, then derails the next one.
