creature

Krakaren Crotch Dumpling

crotch dumplings · baby krakarens · the juvenile monsters · Krakaren clones

Bigger by the hour, staying put, and with nowhere anyone can account for them to go.

Story so far

The clones gathered at Station 24 are still growing. By all accounts they are not ranging far from the platform, which is precisely what bothers Carl: if there are that many of them and they get larger by the moment, they must be going somewhere. Set against Mordecai's explanation of the floor as a cartoon about the Krakaren absorbing the universe, Carl concludes they are meant to be the final blow — the exclamation point on the political point the floor is making.

Appearance

Small-dog-sized now and still swelling, packed shoulder to shoulder across a platform.

Role

The floor's growing swarm, and the presumed instrument of its endgame.

Relationships

Krakaren — Its clone offspring.
Station 24 — Massed there in thousands.
Carl — Cannot stop asking where they are all going.
