Charged with keeping the Krakaren happy and, by extension, with 'excess citizen disposal,' Doris tried to impress the CFO Rod with a money-saving concept: running the surplus bodies out on an extra train along an existing line rather than a dedicated conveyor. That shortcut, Madison claims, is what unleashed the Festering-Ghoul catastrophe now consuming the trainyards.
