Odette

the Maestro's rival host · Odette of Death Watch

The bug-helmeted talk-show host who mentors Carl off-air and needles the Skull Empire on-air.

Story so far

Odette is the talk-show host who has repeatedly interviewed Carl and Princess Donut. Closing her latest taping, she publicly mocked the Skull Empire over the viral Pork Boy Snick, encouraging her audience's 'Pork Boy' and 'glurp glurp' chants aimed at Prince Maestro — whose show *Death Watch Extreme Dungeon Mayhem* has gone into hiatus — while noting that King Rust has arrived in Earth orbit and gone ominously quiet. Off-air she gave Carl and Donut pivotal class-selection advice: let Donut choose first, prize a pathfinder skill, take the AI's class suggestion seriously but ignore its race advice, and quietly grab the hidden Manager Benefit to keep Mordecai — hinting at a grudge in which she 'pushed him too hard.' She warned Carl that the Valtay Corporation is a fleet of powerful parasitic aliens waiting to collect Borant's debt.
