Story so far
The *Weeping Somnambulist* is a nearly hundred-year-old Ceres-registered food freighter, at the end of her life and left half-dead by a recent pirate attack, that Fred Johnson's people at Tycho refit as a throwaway cover ship. Because she spent twenty years flying the Ganymede-to-Ceres food run, she reads in the registry as a plausible relief-supply visitor, letting Holden, Naomi, and Amos slip past the UN blockade to land on Ganymede while the Rocinante hides far away. Cramped, creaking, and equipped only with moist-towel washing, she carries protein, water purifiers, and antibiotics as her ostensible relief cargo.
Her original captain, Rowena Estancia, was killed in the pirate attack — an identity Naomi assumes.
Appearance
An ancient, decrepit light freighter with a tiny cramped ops deck, seventy-year-old crash couches, locker-lined corridors, and creaking bones; green crew jumpsuits stenciled with her name.
