Eugenia

Eugenia port

A rubble asteroid near Ceres becomes the orbit of Pa's improvised container port and a precarious supply base for her breakaway fleet.

Story so far

Eugenia is a loose, unstable pile of black gravel and scrap with a tiny moon, unsuitable for ordinary mining, habitation, domes, or spin gravity. An old Earth science station lies abandoned on its surface. Its temporary usefulness lies in being uninhabited and not yet too distant from Ceres's uncertain protection.

Michio Pa's fleet instead builds a nakliye port in orbit: standardized shipping containers welded into passageways, warehouses, airlocks, and a lightly powered storage-and-refueling node. Ships rotate through it to recover scattered supplies and support relief deliveries. Captain Ezio Rodriguez's Panshin helps develop it, making the ugly temporary structure a seed for the independent logistics Pa needs to survive Marco's war.

Appearance

A dark, unfused rubble asteroid with a tiny moon, an abandoned surface science station, and a growing orbital snowflake of white-sealed shipping containers, welding torches, cargo mechs, and small reactor-powered airlocks.

Role

Eugenia is Pa's improvised logistical foothold, viable only while distance and politics keep Marco's forces at bay.

Relationships

[[Michio Pa]] — Her fleet uses the orbiting port to store, refuel, and distribute supplies outside Free Navy control.
[[Panshin]] — The Panshin helps construct and guard the container port.
[[Ceres Station]] — Its shifting orbital distance limits how long Ceres's protective reach can make Eugenia safe.
