A Royal Charter Energy colony ship captured by Pa's forces, now carrying frightened colonists and contested supplies toward Ceres.

Story so far

The Minsky began as a Royal Charter Energy colony ship departing Luna for San Esteban, laden with food, water, hydroponics, medical supplies, construction mechs, scientific equipment, and the people meant to use them. The Free Navy ship Serrio Mal captured and looted it, redirecting it away from the Ring and toward Ceres.

Michio Pa arranges its transfer to the coalition while keeping its original passengers confined to quarters, and the Rocinante leaves Ceres to meet it. The ship's value is double-edged: its cargo could sustain Ceres, but Fred Johnson fears a trap or contamination so strongly that he refuses to let it dock until it has been remotely examined and disinfected.

Appearance

A large, blocky colony ship with external communications satellites scattered across its hull, designed to carry settlers and a planet-building industrial inventory through a Ring gate.

Role

The Minsky is the first practical test of whether Pa and the Ceres coalition can exchange aid without turning suspicion into battle.
