Story so far

Hy1810 is a high-yield engineered Harvester yeast from Ganymede whose release divided Praxidike Meng, Karvonides, and their research team. After Karvonides' murder, Prax secretly sent its data for external confirmation.

Gorman Le's first production runs on Luna look promising enough to suggest that the strain could feed roughly half a million additional people at the Nectaris facility. The risk remains severe: a failure to scale or a contaminated farm reset could cost irreplaceable production days and starve people. Chrisjen Avasarala nevertheless orders the scale-up and prepares to send successful output down Earth’s gravity well, turning a hidden Ganymede dataset into emergency policy.
