A biology specialist whose curiosity about the hidden terrain is tempered by firsthand evidence that the maps are dangerous.
Dr. Arada is a biology specialist with PreservationAux and one half of a long-standing couple with Overse. On the first reconnaissance she argues that the group must learn whether the blank satellite areas are mistakes or deliberate concealment. Her scientific eagerness helps persuade Mensah to land and take samples.
A faulty ground map then leads Arada and Ratthi beyond a hazard perimeter they cannot see, and Murderbot calls them back before harm comes to them. When DeltFall's silence raises the prospect of another disaster, Arada supports sending Murderbot with the rescue party but stays at the habitat herself.
Her physical features are not described. She wears standard planetary-survey gear and is animated enough to bounce with impatience when a scientific question needs answering.
Arada supplies biological expertise and remains behind to help safeguard the base while the rescue party crosses the planet.
