Preservation Survey Team
A freehold survey team split between its own compromised habitat and a hazardous rescue mission to a silent counterpart.
Story so far
PreservationAux tests a missing satellite-map sector and finds that its ground mapping is unreliable as well: hazard markers disappear from some personal displays, placing Arada and Ratthi in danger. The group returns to the habitat with samples but no explanation.
Its concern escalates when DeltFall Group ceases to answer comm calls and fails to launch an expected emergency beacon. Mensah divides the team, taking Murderbot, Pin-Lee, Ratthi, and Overse across the planet in the emergency hopper while Arada, Gurathin, Bharadwaj, and Volescu remain at the seven-dome habitat. The split exposes both groups to risks their compromised systems can no longer reliably identify.
Appearance
The group wears practical environmental suits and habitat work clothes; most individual facial details remain undescribed.
Role
PreservationAux is the threatened survey expedition whose members refuse to abandon another team despite failing data and limited resources.
