Bathin

the jowly goat

A jowly-faced caprid chief engineer of the Plenty Tunnel Project who explains the Justice Light trap to Carl.

Story so far

Bathin is a caprid with a strange, fat, jowly face — unlike the others on the Plenty of Plenty council — and one of the chief engineers of the Plenty Tunnel Project that opened the veins of the galaxy. Judging Carl worthy, he explains what Justice Light's end-of-floor trap actually did: it broke the in-game version of the Nothing, unleashing its inhabitants into three levels of the game (the twelfth, fifteenth, and Club Scolopendra), some of them entities unseen since the earliest days of Dungeon Crawler World — naming the dread Kyryap and Krakaren Prime among the horrors now loose in Club Scolopendra. When the herd stampedes at Carl's revelation, Bathin devolves into a humanlike wailing scream, joyful or panicked, impossible to tell.

Appearance

A caprid with an unusual fat, jowly face distinct from the satanic-breed goats, expressive to the point of wailing.
