Moon Reaper

A dreaded spirit-janitor mob of Sheol's 15th floor whose gaze can trap victims in warped time.

Story so far

Moon Reapers are grim-reaper-shaped janitor mobs native to a dark corner of Sheol on the fifteenth floor — corporeal yet essentially spirit creatures, so terrifying that even the princes of hell fear them. They sometimes break free to roam other floors, devouring everything and sowing chaos. They are not hostile unless attacked, but their gaze attack takes many forms, most dreaded being 'Jaunt sickness,' which traps a victim conscious in warped time, perceiving each second as thirty years.

On the tenth floor Mordecai wears a Moon Reaper form (as a shadow mimic), which glitches and forces him to deliver an involuntary doom-prophecy to each new person — a documented Moon Reaper behavior.

Appearance

A towering hooded grim-reaper with long arms, desiccated hands, and floating black robes; beneath the hood, a flaming eyeball.

Role

A feared Sheol spirit-mob and the source of Mordecai's current form and its prophecy compulsion.

Relationships

Mordecai — His current shadow-mimic form, which glitches because he isn't truly a Moon Reaper.
