The suburban safe-room cul-de-sac where the nine heat teams garage between races — nine doors, one skull-marked.
The Team Roundabout is the safe-room cul-de-sac at the heart of Hungry Eyes Village, where the nine teams of a heat garage between races. A complete asphalt circle under a hot blue sky and red sun, ringed by trees and manicured suburban lawns (it even smells of fresh-cut grass), it has nine garage doors numbered one to eight plus a ninth painted with a runny red skull (the eliminated Trauco Triplets' door). The party's door bears a '7' for their Heat One placing.
A narrow walking path leads to a see-through portal into the neon Hungry Eyes Vendor Village. Safe-room rules apply here, so teams mingle — beer, banter, and sizing each other up — even knowing they may have to kill one another next race.
