Hungry Eyes Vendor Village

the main square · the neon town · Hungry Eyes

A neon-soaked 1980s cyberpunk town of shops, temples, bars, and food carts between the racers' garages.

Story so far

Hungry Eyes Vendor Village is the bustling town beyond the Team Roundabout portal — not the usual faux-medieval dungeon settlement but a garish 1980s cyberpunk fever dream of pink, teal, and purple neon, staffed mostly by gremlins with a few Draconians. Safe-room rules don't apply in the main square, and neither do poisoning rules ('Eat at your own risk'). It holds flashing shops (including a hat vendor and a soon-to-open 'C&W&U: Illegal Modifications and More'), light-draped temples (one a Club Vanquisher Carl is banned from), food carts of un-examinable mystery meat, and a street of bars — the flashy Hairpin (with the Desperado Club entrance behind it) and the quieter Lollipop (with karaoke) where the crawlers gather.

Appearance

A neon-drenched cyberpunk town of flashing shops, temples, food carts, and bar signs in pink, teal, and purple, thronged with gremlins and Draconians under a dark sky.

Role

The racers' between-heat town for shopping, hiring mercenaries, drinking, and karaoke.

Relationships

Team Roundabout — Reached from the garages through a single see-through portal.
The Hairpin — Its flashiest bar, fronting the Desperado Club.
The Lollipop — The quieter karaoke bar where the crawlers meet.
