Increasingly horrified as Sydnee reveals the nine-tier attack is a real recurring apocalypse and that this crawl is its second and third stages, he presses her for the attacks' names — and reacts with dawning dread ('No shit?') when she names attack two 'A Parade of Horribles.' Then the AI commandeers every feed, cutting their live commentary to a blank star field, and he can only keep the conversation going off-air.
