Kappa

Turtle-shelled water-goblins with bowl-shaped heads full of water — immobilized if the water spills out.

Story so far

Kappas are creatures somewhere between a naiad and a goblin 'wearing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles costume' — turtle-shelled, with a bowl-shaped head that holds water. If too much water spills from the head-bowl, a kappa is immobilized, a weakness Elle once exploited by freezing their heads. The racer Dekoki of team Yokai works around it by sealing her bowl with plastic wrap so she can dance freely.

Appearance

A green turtle-shelled humanoid with a flat, bowl-shaped head holding water, webbed features between a goblin and a naiad.
