Story so far
The generator room was loud enough that Jahns and Marnes wore ear protection. Mechanics later crowded inside to watch the first-shift crew finish its refit, but a porter’s news abruptly ended the celebration.
The room became a refuge during the retreat. The cooling feed to IT’s server room runs through its ceiling before rising through the Mechanical shaft. Now people shelter on the far side of the generator while armed men fire near the railings.
