Waiting for the Goddess

Waiting for Goddess

Status banner over a crawler who has eaten the orchid and lies comatose awaiting divine arrival.

Story so far

The moment Katia swallows the Orchid of Eileithyia's Grace, she is knocked unconscious with her health dropped to one percent and this status appears above her head. It marks the hour-long coma the orchid imposes before the summoned goddess can arrive and the ceremony itself can begin.

Donut sees the banner appear and can only say "No." Imani notes the state lasts sixty minutes and the ceremony afterward will take about ten more — a timeline that does not fit inside Emberus's sixty-six-minute ultimatum, forcing Carl to plan a stall.

Role

The status that visibly marks the clock on Katia's transformation.

Relationships

Katia — The crawler under the status.

Orchid Eileithyia's Grace — The item that inflicts it.

Huanxin Jinx — The goddess being waited for.
