The club's front common room of leather couches, bear rugs, and a garage-sized fireplace, unchanged until it isn't.
The lobby is exactly as Carl remembers it: wood slat walls, big leather couches, stairs leading up and down in several directions, and a stone fireplace the size of a garage with a bonfire-sized fire crackling within, filling the wide area with warmth. Rugs cover everything, including bear rugs and a massive snow-white yeti rug with the humanoid yeti head still attached. The whole place smells like incense and grandpas. The faint church music usually piped in here is switched off, adding a menacing effect, and smoke from Carl's bomb gets sucked up into the high ceiling and gives the room a sinister, hazy appearance.
Mostly-elf-and-fairy NPCs jump up and flee within moments of the breach, leaving the front room empty as distant shouting fills the club. Then Dark Purpose lands: the fireplace sputters and dies, frost climbs the walls, the smoke settles back down, The Trophy Heads and the rugs wake screaming, and the room becomes a massacre scene in seconds.
Wood slat walls, leather couches, layered rugs including a white yeti pelt, a garage-sized stone fireplace, and hundreds of mounted heads — later dark, frost-rimed, blood-splattered, and hazed with smoke.
The chapter's single stage, from cozy hunting lodge to defiled slaughterhouse.
