Reaper Spider Minion Upgrade Patch

Story so far

The Platinum To Hell in a Handbasket Box opened in chapter 10 to reveal a small black and silver patch, die cut in the horrifying shape of a Reaper Spider — shorter neck and hair than Shi Maria, with multiple wicker baskets lashed over her bulbous body. Princess Donut excitedly declared it was Shi Maria; Carl corrected her that it was just a regular Spider Reaper Minion.

The patch depicts a traveling Reaper Spider Minion merchant, and its description recommends insulting the next one you meet, as they love that. Affixing it to an eligible garment grants access to the Midnight Market (safety or sanity not guaranteed), notification when traveling merchants are nearby, and +5% Dexterity. Like all patches it is a fleeting item, destroyed if removed. Mordecai grunted that it would give Carl access to a place he needed to stay out of, prompting Donut to point out that telling Carl not to do something guarantees he does it. Thanks to Carl's Scavenger's Daughter patch, installing it also boosts his stats across the board, so he planned to affix it right away.
